I came to purchase moving supplies, and Ashish, the staff member, was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond by not only assisting me with the boxes I needed but also showing me the full range of merchandise available in the store. It was great to see they have all the necessary moving supplies. Ashish also took the time to explain the entire storage process, making everything clear and easy to understand. His friendly attitude, excellent customer service, and detailed knowledge made the entire experience seamless. I am a long-term storage customer (15 years) with several lockers and needed a facility that could accommodate my needs. Mini Mall Storage is above and beyond my expectations! I came in on a Saturday and was greeted with outstanding customer service. Mohammed was exceptionally helpful and showed me the available lockers. They had just what I needed and the value was good. I was impressed with the security and all the camera and codes. There are plenty of dolly's and the facility feels clean, new and safe. When I returned later that week to rent a second locker another amazing staff, Ashish helped me. Sadly, I arrived just before closing and he was kind with me. The storage environment is well controlled, as my belongings have not seemed to age a day, with even paper being keep in great condition. What really stands out though is service. Nahim, at the front desk, helped me remove my lock when I recently lost my keys, and had a ton of information on things like disposal options and the like. His helpful and positive attitude was really appreciated! Overall, I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the place!

The service received from both Ashish and Nahim was by far above today's service standards. Nahim provided full comprehensive details regarding the services offered and how the storage unit system works. There was no detail missed; he took the time to explain, he didn't rush through it, he wanted to ensure that I fully understood and he answered all of my questions thoroughly. He then took me to the locker for viewing and offered to assist with two of the items I thought I wouldn't be able to manage moving on my own because of the dimensions. When I returned the next day to finalize the paperwork it was near the end of the business day. Ashish was working on this day and was not a "clock watcher", which I really appreciated. He stayed past the closing time to complete my transaction, went over the details again and also offered to assist with the two larger storage items, if needed. On the moving day Ashish was available to assist with the first large item, which in the end I was able to manage. On the second moving day Nahim assisted with the other larger item and the move was complete. Everything with the locker and moving the items went exactly as they explained. I have already started spreading the work about Mini Mall Storage and their exceptional service. The company is fortunate to have Ashish and Nahim on their team. Very professional on every level.

Minus 1 star due to not being open 24 hrs to accommodate my shift work schedule and my personal need to avoid sitting in traffic over njhat all costs. Ashish was absolutely amazing at the front desk. They had a deal on right now but more so I've never had such good customer service as I did today in a long time.... it gives me hope for humanity. Good luck Ashish you will go far in life. Update: I had the opportunity to meet another employee Darren who was as lovely as Ashish. I had come in very close to closing time and couldn’t get my lock open due to it being faulty lock. I went down to the front desk and Darren was there, even though most would be unhelpful due to it being their time to to leave Darren offered to come up and try to help me open my lock he tried for quite a while And offered to take the nest up and cut it off. I acknowledge the time and said you know it’s your time off I really appreciate it and he said well this is my job. This is what we do and cutters and help me get in. I’m not going to write reviews on locations like storage buildings however, I sure do have to say that the staffing here has been so lovely and supportive and reassuring as this move has has been hard on me and they’ve even listened to some of my venting and struggles that I’ve endured . Who knew that Ministorage came with sensitive and compassionate attentive employees… very hard to find these days! Mini Mall Storage was the best self storage company I used. The facilities were perfect with extra security codes that maintain saftey of my personal belongings. When I signed up and spoke to the team they had excellent customer service and guided me with the right size unit for my storage needs. Singing up was easy, painless and having access to insurance was an added bonus that added protection to my personal belongings. The facilities were well maintained, clean and always had access to push trolleys to move my stuff back and forth. The team was really easy to work with to close my account when I no longer needed storage. My new condo has a storage unit so I no longer needed the rent. However in the future if I ever need storage use I will go with mini mall storage again. I personally and wholeheartedly recommend mini mall storage for your storage needs. You will not be disappointed.

A quality experience over the last year and a half with my 20' x 10' storage locker. The staff are helpful and courteous and the area is kept tidy and in good working order. They provide easily accesible large and small dollies for transporting items which was very useful. After clearing out my locker Darren at the front desk was very helpful in making sure that my rental was terminated correctly despite the fact that I was a bit late giving notice. I’ve been storing at this facility since it was Mayfair. The staff have always treated me well and say hello whenever I bump into them. The facility is easy to access especially if you are on the first level, and they are making constant improvements like smart phone access. The facility is clean and well secured. If you’re on the north shore this is a great location for self storage.

We used this North Vancouver facility in 2014 and were very pleased. We were thrilled that this facility is still very well maintained, clean and secure. Mini Mall Storage also has very competitive rental rates. Highly recommend.

I opened an account at Mini Mall Storage to store some personal items prior to the sale of my townhouse. During the process Mohammed was very courteous and helpful. He was able to answer all my questions and provide alternatives. The facilities were clean and seemed well maintained.

Staff are excellent. The only flaw is that the gate access keypad is too far away to reach from a car. I ended up scratching my car on the bollards.

Been at North Van location since Feb 2022 and was happy until this month. Clean and secure facility with friendly staff. Got my first rate hike after 6 months for $35. Another 7 months later in March 2023 I get a 50% rate hike ($170 more). Talked to the manager of the facility and I was told this was the going rate of storage in my area (North Van). A quick scroll through many of their competitors shows much lower rates for same size and service provided. I Iet the manager know and they said there was nothing they could do. Very unethical! Save yourself some trouble and go to one of the many cheaper BBB accredited minis storage places close by or over by the Cap Mall.

This place used to be amazing, but they sneakily increase prices or add new fees every few months. I just got an email they're going to add $18 in B.S. fees starting in December, an 11% increase on my small unit. They also rip you off on insurance, if your home insurance doesn't cover storage facilities, you can go on google and get insurance for 1/4 the price they offer it at (it's mandatory now here as well).

One star for the staff who are really nice and always helpful. Unfortunately this storage facility was bought by mini mall and they raised our rent from 350 to 500/month. It came in an email that didn’t mention the fee increase in the body of the email, but as an attachment. I requested a call from head office but not surprising, never received a call. Do not trust that they won’t increase fees again. Find another storage option on the north shore, there are many in the area.

Everything was fine, the staff are nice and the facility is ideal, HOWEVER in just one year they raised the rent 100%!! I started at $151 a month, 6 months later they raised it to $168 (reasonable) and 6 months after that they want to charge $308 a month! When I reached out for a more reasonable solution, the response was "Unfortunately, we have not been given any permission to make any amendments." This is an unexpected way to take advantage of customers. Landlords are not allowed to double the rent on tenants, and providing only one month notice of this astronomical increase for storage doesn’t even allow me time to cancel my agreement with and move out before this huge jump in costs, as I'm currently out of the country. This is unethical and unreasonable, and then I found out that Mini Mall is traded as a mutual fund, so I'm sure investors will be very happy. Customers on the other hand, are not happy at all.

EVERYONE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM MINI MALL STORAGE! Writing in regards to the Mini Mall Properties acquisition of Mayfair and their new policy concerning renter's insurance. Concerned about the legal issue of automatically adding renter's insurance to my existing account or requiring me to have insurance. I have been a client for over 10 years, 73 years of age, living on a fixed budget When acquiring a new company, Mayfair, Mini Mall Properties inherits the previous clients contracts and terms. I'm not legally responsible to sign a new contract again Mini Mall assumes my previous agreement with Mayfair. Assuming Mini Mall has it's own insurance. I'm not responsible to pay an additional fee to cover their insurance cost. I'm not giving my authorization! I cannot accept the policy of paying for an insurance expense to my existing account without my authorization. THIS SIMPLY FEES LIKE A MONEY GRAB!

I started renting in 2016. The space is ok. On April 26, 2021 I received a letter telling me the business was sold and purchased by Mini Mall Storage on April 15, 2021. The new company wants to ensure that renters have $5,000 worth of storage insurance. They offered an insurance plan that would provide the $5,000 storage for $19 per mo plus taxes. If you had your own coverage you have to show proof or June 1 2021 the amount would automatically be withdrawn if you paid storage by credit card. $20/Mo or $240/yr is an outrageous. I handed in my notice today that May 31 2021 would be my last day. during 2 visits I have spoken to 6 other people that are also leaving the Mini Mall Storage for the same reason.. Good luck.
